🐙 Canon 5D Mark Ii Autofocus Not Working
Inconsistent Sharpness Issue withCanon 5d Mark iv. 02-20-2021 01:50 PM. I have a 5d Mark iv and am having lots of trouble with sharpness consistency on every image. I am shooting back to back images with exactly the same settings and some of them are tack sharp and others are totally blurry and I have not changed any settings.

Depending on the subject, you might get good results with manual focus. Depth of field - A deeper depth of field can help avoid out of focus images. The depth of field is the range of the image that
Possible reasons why the AF on your EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II lens isn't working: The AF/MF switch is set to MF (manual focus).; You are attempting to focus an object at a distance from the camera, as measured from the focal plane mark on the camera body, that is less than the MFD (minimum focus distance) of the lens or is less than the distance limited by the Focus Limiter switch.

Auto-focus will not work, not because the EF 1.4X III is not compatible but because the combo raises the minimum aperture to f/8 - you lose 1 stop using the 1.4 teleconverter and with the 100-400mm being at f/5.6 that becomes f/8. Some higher end Canon cameras such as the 1D series, the 5D mark III/IV and the 7D Mark II (not sure about the 6D
Select the option near that bottom that is called Custom Controls. The first item in the list of controls is always the shutter button. Press the Set button on the camera to open the options for the shutter button. Change the setting from the default setting of Metering and AF Start to just Metering Start.
The Canon EOS II driver detects the camera model automatically, and adjusts its internal settings to account for differences between models. (For the Canon EOS I driver you must choose the model manually.) Please note that Canon releases new models frequently, and that a software update is always required to support a new model.
